Game Day II

Last year’s Game Day went so well, we decided to hold one again this year. The idea was to show up to play Harry Potter games and bring school supplies as your “admission” fee to the fun!

Location: Centreville Regional Library, 14200 St. Germain Drive

Even though it was the afternoon before Hurricane Irene was passing by our area, we had a small turnout and a LOT of fun! We played on Pottermore, compared HP playing card decks, tackled the double-sized LEGO Harry Potter game, and guessed mystery character identities on stickers on our foreheads.

We collected backpacks, pens, pencils, pencil cases, scissors, highlighters, paper, index cards, dividers, notebooks, binders, book covers, markers, glue, folders, rulers, Kleenex boxes, and much more. We donated the supplies again to ECHO in Springfield, VA.
