1. Starvation Wages Horcrux
November 1, 2010-December 31, 2010
At the Deathly Hallows premiere, we held a Lumos Party, shining our lights and nifty battery-operated candles to signify our support of fair trade and fair wages for the workers who make Harry Potter merchandise (think delicious Chocolate Frogs!). We also circulated petitions at two different showings of the movie on opening day, gathering more than 3 pages of signatures.
You can do your part to help:
- Sign the petition (the more people we get to sign, the closer we get to winning another Chapter Cup!)
- Share the petition with others: friends, families, through Facebook and Twitter, etc.
- Write a letter to Time Warner (a template is provided, just fill in your unique info–again, the more people who write, the more points we get toward a Chapter Cup)
